Remain The Same was a rock band based in Memphis, TN. Originally formed in 2010.

They released their debut self-titled EP in 2011. After tons of shows all over the mid-south, the band decided to take a break. After 2 years, James decided to reboot the band.

In 2013 RTS reformed with a partial new lineup. They released 2 new tracks “Into the New” and “Here we are” while working on a new album with Justin Rimer (Breaking Point & 12 Stones) as producer at Crosstrax Studios at the helm. At the same time of recording the band played every show they could. With some of their biggest highlights opening for Shinedown and Full Devil Jacket.

In late 2014 the band abruptly went on permanent hiatus.

In 2022 the band’s Sole lead vocalist, James, left us all to join his mother on the other side. Cementing the end of RTS.

Update 2025: there were two remaining tracks from the second lineup that were never released. “Playin with fire” and “The good fight”. Both are in the works to be finished and released on all major platforms in 2026.
